About This Photo
Dear Supporter
Summer is a time we gather with those close to us, our friends and families, to enjoy the sun and take a break from our normal routines and work. Our families are our support system—those who help us through the times when we need someone to lean on, laugh with or simply carry out our daily work. It is these bonds that help families, in partnership with Heifer, become self-reliant as they better their nutrition and help others in their communities.
Earlier this month we were reminded again of the power of family as we welcomed families from around the world to the grand opening of Heifer Village, our new experiential education center.
At Heifer Village, families toured interactive displays, learning about the root causes of poverty and the way Heifer is ending hunger throughout the world. We hope that all of our supporters will be able to join us at Heifer Village to learn about poverty and see the hope families around the world are experience as a result of our work.
Yours for a Better World,

Ashley Michael
