New York - Fourteen zany people in cow suits and two in chicken suits got plenty of attention in Times Square today. April Fools preview? NO – it’s the kick off of Heifer International’s Pass on the Gift month, www.heifer.org/gifts, a global celebration that brings together Heifer supporters and communities around the world dedicated to ending hunger and poverty. The actors carried picket signs stating, “Pass on the Gift”, and “Visit Heifer.org in April”, as they danced and chanted their way across Times Square and Central Park, letting passers-by know how they can help create sustainable solutions to hunger and poverty through Heifer International www.heifer.org .
